Yes get in touch with the law, but DA office will not do, go to FBI, maybe they will move there *** on this.

yes we were ripped off by these people. Who would have thought that they would do this and it's very unfortunate that this company had big accounts and now lost it. We were ripped off for over $5,000 worth of invoice and hopefully these people go to jail for what they have done

First off that Danielle - is not the one who worked for Nick in the accounting department! 

 

Secondly - People need to be aware of the fact that this whole debocle is a direct result of Jim Cartisano's & his counterpart Mike True's pure unadulterated greed & disregard for anyone but themselves!! 

The NBS Group always had it's issues in one aspect or another but up until a little over a year ago when Nick found out that his friend/partner of many years 

had been stabbing him in the back it was a solvent company! 

Jim Cartisano is a lieing sociopath in every sense of the word! He should be blackballed in the industry along with the few counter parts who are stupidly/greedily still standing by him! Completely corrupt & immoral!  

Jim underbid NBS in favor of his other companies as well as took all the project work while out on sales calls! On top of which him & Mike True while out of town supposedly soliciting for new/more NBS work/clients went hog wild with misuse of NBS co. credit cards to the tune of 30 40 50 k sometimes monthly! In essence all this combined was essentially embezzlement of funds from The NBS Group!  

 

When Nick filed suit against Jim - Jim stopped selling therefore no new business was coming in & once vendor payments started getting really behind corporate offices began to get wind of problems brewing & started pulling work from the co.  

In order to clear some of the debt the bank stepped in and had them reduce their staff to cut their payroll and then froze their accounts!  

 

Nick is working hard to try to resolve as much as possible & make right with their vendors while Jim has once again moved on to try and operate yet another company! Thirty plus people lost their lively hood (some a very good one at that for having no other experience) and are now facing a rough road to get back on their feet! Does Jim care......NO!! He continues to lie, cheat & steal! 

 

Unbelievably to me he was able to convince most of his people that Nick was to blame for all & that he promised them they would not lose their jobs! Some even after having lost their job still continue to believe Jim and his lies!  

 

Unfortunately the co.'s vendors were the ones to suffer the most and that's a *** shame!

Just heard from someone that a girl "Danielle" with an Italian sounding last name(Nick's mistress in accounting presumably) answered the phone at this number that was posted. One of the many victims spoke to her briefly. Claimed she didn't know what it was all about, but sounded pretty shook-up. Looks like a good new address & phone number for Danielle//Nick Motherway.

Ex employee 101: The issue is vendors owed over 700k and Nick Motherway refuses to pay them.

I have a very good friend who worked for NBS Group for many, many years. You would not believe some of the stories about the things that happened there over the years. And the workers there did not leave, they were let go in the middle of July. From what I heard there is a serious court case going on involving the 2 owners. The regular workers there were fighting to get the vendors paid for months; Nick Motherway told them that they were NOT to pay ANYONE. Whether they were owed money or not, unless there was an attorney involved. He went so far as to have one of his people (mistresses) physically remove all of the blank checks. From what my friend told me there are only 4 employees left working there now and the owners are rarely seen or heard from. The people who worked there, I have met many of them, were honest hard working people. And when they were let go, the company stiffed many of them on their final paychecks. They were told that the money was taken from them in order to pay the balance of their health insurance. One of the workers did not have health insurance and she did not receive a final check either. 

 

In the last couple of years the company disintegrated due to extremely poor management. And some people using sexual favors and long lunches (wink, wink) to get higher pay and advance their status in the company. The (honest) workers were left to do their jobs with little to no instruction from management. When vendors complained about payment, they were given an email address to contact. No one wanted to talk to these vendors because they were extremely pissed off, and rightfully so, but the workers were not able to do anything about it. It was managements call. And management took orders from Jim Cartisano and Nick Motherway who told them they were allowed to do NOTHING.  

 

However I did hear that instead of paying vendors, Jim Cartisano and Nick Motherway were using their company account as a personal piggybank and all of their car payments, golf memberships, and now attorney fees etc. were paid from there. Even the workers were lied to by these 2 con-artists. 

 

My friend expressed to me repeatedly how frustrating it was to have to call these unsuspecting vendors to do work for them knowing the vendor would probably never get paid. I believe this company is no longer in business but if they owe you money, I would contact an attorney ASAP, before they declare bankruptcy.  

 

PS I was told Facility Services is one of Jim Cartisano’s companies. History repeats for those who do not learn.
